This sideboard was a family heirloom that a client really hoped to incorporate into their dining room. The original china hutch was too tall for the room, so we decided to use just the base. As you can see, it's quite traditional and they preferred a more contemporary style. So we decided to lighten it up and change out the top.
PROJECTS
After a visit to the client's home, we choose a soft but warm gray for the cabinet and marble quartz for the top. The hardware was updated to a champagne gold in a contemporary style to compliment the client's request to update the piece. No longer relegated to garage, this little piece of family history is enjoyed everyday.
